Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This policy explains what personal information JIS Food & Beverage Co. ("we", "us") collects on lumimatchacoffeeco.com for Lumi Matcha & Coffee, why we collect it and the choices you have.
1. Who we are
lumimatchacoffeeco.com is run by JIS Food & Beverage Co. (JIS Group), 1683 Church Ave, Winnipeg, MB R2X 2Y7. For any privacy question, email support@bossify.org.
We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and, for marketing emails, Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL).
2. What we collect
- Orders: your name, email address, the items you order and, when needed for delivery or payment, your phone number and shipping address.
- Customer record: one record per email address with your contact details, saved addresses, order history and your choice about marketing emails.
- Questions and chat: what you type into the chat on our website and any details you choose to share there.
- Franchise, partner and supplier enquiries: what you put in the form (for example name, email, phone, city and your message).
- Franchisee and staff accounts: your account email, name, role, store and the work you do in your account (orders, stock counts, messages and the time clock where used).
- Basic technical information every website receives, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you open, kept for a short time for security.
Card payments are handled by our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or keep your full card number.
Our websites are not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
3. Why we use it
- To take, prepare, deliver and support your orders and show you their status.
- To answer your questions and review franchise, partner and supplier enquiries.
- To run franchisee and staff accounts.
- To send offers and news only if you said yes (see section 6).
- To keep our websites safe, prevent abuse and meet legal, tax and accounting duties.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Who we share it with
We share only what is needed with companies that work for us:
- Website hosting and our customer and order records: stored in Canada (Montreal).
- Email delivery: United States.
- Card payments (Stripe): Canada and the United States.
- Answers in the website chat and some back-office help: OpenAI (United States) and DeepSeek (China). What you type in the chat is sent to them to write the answer.
- Store maps: OpenStreetMap and Google Maps.
Because of this, your information may be stored or processed outside Canada and be subject to the laws there. Inside JIS Group, people see only what they need for their work (for example, a franchisee sees only their own store's orders). We may share information when the law requires it.
5. The website chat
Some answers on our websites are written automatically from the information our team has published, and may be incomplete. The chat may pass your question to our team. Please don't share sensitive information such as health or financial details in the chat.
6. Marketing emails
We send offers and news only with your clear consent: the box when you order stays unticked unless you tick it, and we record when you said yes or no. Every marketing email will include our name, our address and a way to unsubscribe, and we act on unsubscribe requests within 10 business days. You can also unsubscribe at any time by emailing support@bossify.org. Order and account emails (confirmations, shipping updates, sign-in links) are not marketing and are sent when needed.
7. Cookies
We use only the cookies our websites need to work:
- Sign-in cookies for franchisee and staff accounts, while you are signed in.
- A My orders sign-in cookie, for up to 30 days.
- A chat cookie that keeps your conversation, for up to 180 days.
- Your shopping list is saved in your own browser until you order or clear it.
We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. If that ever changes, we will update this page and ask you first where the law requires it.
8. How long we keep it
- Orders and customer records: for at least 6 years, as Canadian tax law requires, then deleted or made anonymous.
- Chat conversations and enquiries: up to 2 years.
- Franchise applications we don't go ahead with: up to 2 years.
- Sign-in links expire after 20 minutes. Backup copies are kept for up to 30 days.
9. Security
Access is limited to people who need it, information is protected in transit, and each brand and role can see only its own records. No system is perfectly secure. If a breach creates a real risk of significant harm, we will tell you and the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada as the law requires.
10. Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw your consent to marketing, by emailing support@bossify.org. We reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (priv.gc.ca).
11. Changes
We will post any change on this page and update the date at the top.
